Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
MIDI Hub helps users discover, play, share, record, and practice MIDI music. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the MIDI Hub app and website.
Information we process
- Account information, such as your email address, display name, and sign-in provider.
- MIDI files and related information that you upload, record, publish, purchase, or save.
- Favorites, practice history, language preferences, tempo and key settings.
- Point balances, point activity, purchase access, and Apple transaction identifiers. Apple processes App Store payments; MIDI Hub does not receive your payment-card details.
- Basic technical information needed for security, diagnostics, and reliable operation.
MIDI devices
When you connect a MIDI keyboard, MIDI Hub processes MIDI messages to display and record notes. MIDI recording stores performance events rather than microphone audio. Data is uploaded only when you choose to save or publish it.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts, synchronize your library, play and practice MIDI music, process points and purchases, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Sharing and service providers
Content you publish is visible to other users. Private MIDI files remain associated with your account. We use service providers such as Apple, Google, Supabase, Vercel, and Cloudflare for authentication, payments, storage, hosting, and delivery. They process information under their own privacy terms.
Retention and your choices
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and transaction records. You may remove eligible MIDI files in the app. When you permanently delete your account from your profile, private MIDI files and personal account data are deleted. MIDI files you previously published remain in the public library without an active owner so listeners and existing purchasers can continue to access them.
